HealthCorps Members at Manet Community Health Center Making a Difference!

Morgan Kutzman and Tim Shih have been working dilgently doing community outreach with individuals in Quincy Massachusetts and Weymouth Massachusetts areas.  Peforming their assignments at Manet Community Health Center has afforded them many opportunities to put on healthfairs as well as attend others in the communities that the health center serves.  The Blood Pressure Screenings that they do raise the awareness about the dangers of high blood pressure. 

During the past Holiday season they also worked on a gift drive that provided toys and other items to individuals in the community.

Morgan is getting prepared to apply to medical school and Tim has already been accepted at several medical schools and will be attending the University of Kansas Medical School starting in late August. 

These are two future doctors have been on the front line to see how important primary care is to underserved populations.  Hopefully they will take this experience in the Community HealthCorps, and build upon it as they become doctors.
