My AmeriCorps Member Lindsey Boss
This year I became a site supervisor, but because of one AmeriCorps [Community HealthCorps] member, most days I felt like there was little supervision I actually need to do. Her name is Lindsey Boss and her goal in life is to help others. She is hoping to become a PA, but not being accepted to any of her preferred schools at this time, didn’t stop her from following her dream of working with patients. |

Healthier Living Feedback
It was great to hear how this patient was really into the class and how it has inspired him to take charge of his life. It comes to show how you cannot always tell the effect you have on people by what is on the outside. This showed me a really important lesson: to not always be discouraged by what seems to be negative feedback. Everyone is different and to not be quick to judge. |
