Community HealthCorps Releases Our 2015-2016 Notice of Funding Opportunity

Community HealthCorps is very excited to announce the release of our 2015-2016 Notice of Funding Opportunity! The 2014-2015 program year marks our 20th Anniversary, and we are excited to move the program forward by strengthening, communicating and growing our impact. As we reflect on two decades of positive change made by over 7,800 AmeriCorps members serving more than 1.3 million hours with Community HealthCorps to improve the health of medically underserved communities, we hope to gain new partners in our mission for a healthier nation and developing the future leaders in healthcare and public service.

With a new national director on board, we have committed to expanding the impact of the largest health-focused AmeriCorps program even further by placing AmeriCorps members in all 50 states and territories within the next ten years! Currently our program has 535 AmeriCorps members serving in 16 states and the District of Columbia, so meeting this goal would triple our program’s size. With this Notice of Funding Opportunity, we hope to give opportunities to many more communities to reap the incredible benefits brought by the presence of AmeriCorps members expanding and enhancing the services of the local community health centers and partner agencies. If your organization is interested in applying or finding out more about the benefits, requirements and process of becoming a Community HealthCorps Program Site, click the links and/or icons below to access our official Notice of Funding Opportunity or one of our additional resources.
